Pre-School

The very first step — creche, nursery and reception, where children learn to feel safe away from home, to play well with others, and to love the sound of a new word.

Our approach

Learning that still feels like play.

At this age a child learns with their whole body — through songs, stories, sand and water, colour, movement and repetition. Our pre-school rooms are built around that: a predictable daily rhythm, plenty of activity, and adults who are patient with tears as well as questions.

Because our groups are kept deliberately small in number, every child gets a lap to sit on, a name that is used often, and an adult who notices when something is wrong.

What we cover

The foundations, laid gently.

A

Early Literacy

Rhymes, stories, letter sounds and talking — the first bricks of reading, laid without pressure.

#

Early Numeracy

Counting, sorting, shapes and patterns, learned through objects a child can hold.

🎨

Creative Play

Drawing, colouring, music, dance and dress-up — where imagination and confidence grow.

Devotion & Manners

Short devotion, simple prayers and everyday good manners — please, thank you, sorry, and taking turns.

🌱

Health & Self-Care

Washing hands, eating well, tidying up and using the toilet independently — small skills, big steps.

🤝

Social Skills

Sharing, listening, playing together and settling small disagreements with words.

Settling in

A first day that isn't frightening.

We take the first weeks slowly. Parents are welcome to stay a while at the start, we keep you updated through the day, and our pre-school shares a site with the primary school — so older brothers and sisters are never far away.

Ready for their first day?

Pre-school admissions are open through the year. Begin an application, or come and see the rooms for yourself before you decide.
